Goldbelt Falcon personnel support fundamental research and bioinformatics efforts to diverse customers across governmental research organizations. We offer support in the development and application of scientific and analytical disciplines; scientific study and experimentation directed toward advancing the state-of-the-art or increasing knowledge or understanding; concept formulation; assessment of system and subsystem requirements; development, analysis and evaluation of concepts, technologies, systems and subsystems; and development of operational concepts and tactics with the end goal being the application of results to developing new or improving existing capabilities. Our staff has the training and experience to bring a variety of research methodologies and designs to our approach. Specific expertise includes research design, questionnaire/interview design, multivariate data analysis and the development of web-based data query and dissemination systems.

Our Bioinformatic efforts included developing forensic tools that allow detection, identification, and tracing of pathogenic strains that could be used to contaminate the nation’s food supply. We developed databases with sufficient resolving power to aid in forensic identification of microbial agents suspected to be the result of bioterrorism activities. A particular emphasis is the detection and discrimination of pathogenic microbes in food; refining the applications of methods already developed; and transferring these technologies to field laboratories and to other agencies.

We have provided the following research services to our clients:

  • Bioinformatic Analysis of DNA Microarray Data
