Job Title: PMEL Technician I / II

Description:
Goldbelt Falcon has an immediate opening for a PMEL Technician to perform calibration/repair of United States Air Force Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) at the Hill Air Force Base Type IIA Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) located near Ogden , UT. This position requires knowledge of DC/low frequency generation, time/domain, torque and hand tool measurement principals , troubleshooting techniques, metrology techniques and laboratory practices. Knowledge of PMEL facility requirements, AFMETCAL Program functions/procedures and ISO 17025 are essential. Applicants must have experience inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, overhauling, aligning, calibrating and certifying TMDE and/or laboratory standards, as well as ensuring calibration traceability to NIST. Preferred education/training includes completion of a Department of Defense PMEL school; completion of the USAF PMEL Technician in-residence course is highly desirable.
